DLA Land and Maritime Level I Mentees graduate the mentorship program

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime hosted the Level I Mentoring Program graduation ceremony and reception Mar. 1 at Defense Supply Center Columbus. “The Level I Mentoring Program provides the opportunity for employees to find their niche in the organization, build strategic relationships and gain a broader perspective of DLA’s mission and future,” said guest speaker and program graduate JoAnn Phillips.

DSCC Child Development Center reopens as in-sourced DoD entity

COLUMBUS, Ohio — After more than 10 months of preparation, the Child Development Center (CDC) on Defense Supply Center Columbus reopened Feb. 27 as a fully in-sourced Department of Defense operation.

Land and Maritime Town Hall promotes audit readiness, performance review updates

COLUMBUS, Ohio — In her first Town Hall as commander of DLA Land and Maritime, Navy Rear Admiral Michelle Skubic outlined her priorities while reaffirming the agency’s current strategic plan.

Land and Maritime recognizes successful CFC campaign

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DLA Land and Maritime recently closed out its 2016 Combined Federal Campaign on a positive note with a meeting of the organization’s key workers. Their efforts helped the Central Ohio West Virginia campaign raise more than $958,000 in contributions.

DSCC police reunite missing man with family

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Supply Center Columbus police responded to a call at the Yearling Road Gate Jan. 18 after a disoriented, elderly man walked onto the installation trying to get to his father’s house.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the twelfth consecutive year, Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Toastmasters Club has earned the President’s Distinguished Club Award.

Columbus mayor visits DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DLA Land and Maritime Commander, Navy Rear Admiral Michelle Skubic welcomed Columbus, Ohio Mayor Andrew Ginther for a familiarization visit to the Defense Supply Center (DSCC) Columbus installation January 10. Ginther’s visit included an initial meeting with Skubic and her senior leadership team prior to receiving selected operations briefings.
