Fort Benning, Georgia — They say it’s "better at Benning," and at the Clothing Initial Issue Point at Fort Benning, Georgia, the 30th AG Reception Battalion partners with DLA to provide soldiers with the gear they need.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Defense industry representatives learned about $31 billion worth of opportunities to support warfighters and federal organizations during the second Defense Logistics Agency Industry Day.

Exercise planner honored for support to Pacific Sentry

Expeditionary contracting officers wanted

The Defense Logistics Agency relies heavily on those in the contracting series to provide acquisition services and contract support to assist the agency’s military and civilian partners around the world. To meet its goal of 40 qualified contracting officers, the Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office is recruiting members for its Expeditionary Contracting Cadre.

DLA sweeps DoD Workforce Recruitment Program Awards

The Defense Logistics Agency proved its commitment to employing people with disabilities by dominating the Defense Department’s 2019 Workforce Recruitment Program Awards in a July 18 ceremony in Alexandria, Virginia. The agency placed in all four categories for the first time and was named WRP Component of the Year for the second year.
