Flag Room team recognized for hard work, dedication

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Chaplain Army Col. Bob Wichman recognized 15 DLA Troop Support Flag Room employees for the hard work, dedication and talent they bring to making military unit flags and hand embroidering the president and vice-presidential flags.

New civilian retirees celebrated by DLA Troop Support

Philadelphia — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support said goodbye to two civilian employees during a retirement ceremony January 30 in Philadelphia. Florence Hall, from the Construction and Equipment supply chain, retired after 50 years of federal service. Nick Sistrun from Command Support retired after working for 35 years with the federal government.

DLA Troop Support program develops mentors and mentees

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s newest one-on-one mentorship program has reached its midpoint this month, just in time to observe National Mentoring Month.

Charitable decorating contest brings joy to employees, food to community

PHILADELPHIA — Employees from the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support participated in a holiday decorating contest using non-perishable goods to create holiday displays. The festive scenes were judged based on several factors including festiveness, and the non-perishable elements are being donated to a food pantry to support local communities in need this holiday season.
