BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Annual leaders meet up continues online in an upended 2020.

PHILADELPHIA — The Fall 2020 Joint Subsistence Policy Board and Class I Global Summit was held Oct. 13 to 15 at the Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters at Fort Belvoir, Va. The DLA Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain hosted the event.

CFC: What giving means to me

PHILADELPHIA — Employees of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support have donated to the annual Combined Federal Campaign for decades. This CFC season, open from Sept. 21 to Jan. 15, 2021, will continue the tradition of helping those with a need. During this period, the 2,000-plus employee-strong workforce will have the opportunity to represent DLA’s theme, “Be the face of giving,” to any of thousands of causes represented by the CFC.

Returning customer reaches $5 million mark in reusable items

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Defense Logistics Agency employees at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, recently resumed issuing usable excess property to transfer and donation customers as pandemic restrictions eased, allowing one customer to reach the $5 million mark in property acquired through the agency.

DLA, HHS deliver rapid-result COVID-19 test kits across the nation

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency supplied over 11 million rapid COVID-19 test kits that provide on-site results within 15 minutes to thousands of sites nationwide by Oct. 2. The deliveries are part of a contract awarded Aug. 28 for 150 million tests on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services and are expected to continue through December.
