Relationship building and greater collaboration focus of summit

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime forward presence associates from across the country gathered at Defense Supply Center Columbus to rekindle relationships with their Columbus-based peers during a training summit for Maritime Customer operations personnel Sept. 11- 14.

POW/MIA observance at Land and Maritime tells the stories of the missing

COLUMBUS, Ohio — When our nation goes to war, no matter the length or severity of the conflict, there are losses, and behind each loss is a story of a life lived and a sacrifice made. Several of those stories were highlighted with Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s observance in honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day from September 14 -20.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — On any given day in the summer and early fall, hundreds of bees, butterflies, bumblebees, and other pollinators can be seen enjoying the three-acre prairie habitat on the north side of Defense Supply Center Columbus established by Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management – Columbus Environmental Division in 2017.

Richmond, Va. — Answering a challenge from Defense Logistics Agency headquarters to implement the use of automation software in Material Management, the Requisition Alert Robot team, commonly called the RA BOT team at DLA Aviation at Cherry Point, North Carolina, stepped up and developed a solution that earned them the Defense Logistics Agency Director’s Strategic Goals Award for the 3rd Quarter of 2023.
