DLA Aviation at Oklahoma employees build skills during deployments

Richmond, Va. — It’s not unusual for Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma employees to support warfighters with overseas deployments. Aaron Korstjens and Rachel Vardaman spent their recent deployments developing new skills that will help them continue to support stateside customers.

The Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce alongside Defense Logistics Agency senior leaders and the family of Stephen Byus officially opened the Stephen Byus Central Issue Facility Warehouse June 8 during a memorialization ceremony at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Future Defense Department civilian deployers will now receive vital equipment — including boots and protective gear — inside a new facility at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, dedicated to fallen Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime logistician Stephen Byus.

DLA Aviation Pathways to Career Excellence program graduates combined classes

RICHMOND, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Procurement Process Support Directorate’s Training Division and Business Process Support Directorate’s Supply/Tech Training Division celebrated the graduation of 45 people from the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence program June 7.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Droves of Bexley families and guests crowded into Drexel Circle on Memorial Day to remember the city’s men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty and to pay tribute to the loved ones they left behind. The event, held at the community’s World War II Memorial, featured keynote speaker Army Brig. Gen.
