RICHMOND, Va. — A handful of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Jacksonville, Florida employees and their relatives put on their physical activity gear, laced up their sneakers and pounded the pavement to bring awareness to the importance of heart health by participating in the American Heart Society’s annual First Coast Heart Walk held at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds Sept. 10.

RICHMOND, Va — About a year-an- a-half ago, if your office or cubicle was located in Building 46 on Defense Supply Center Richmond, you used to be able to look out one of the huge windows and get a birds-eye-view of the Bellwood elk roaming freely.

The light blue shallow water platforms of the Bahamas, which are separated by very deep dark blue channels, make for a striking scene. The Bahamas are one of the few regions where calcium carbonate precipitates directly out of the water, as the mineral aragonite, to form the coral reef islands.
