In honor of their contributions to the agency’s global mission, DLA is highlighting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who work day in and day out to provide logistics support to America’s warfighters.

May 9, 2019 - The Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center echoed with the booming sounds of taiko drums and shouts in Japanese as members of the workforce embraced a 2,000 year-old culture during an Asian Pacific Heritage Month program event.

Excess items avoid landfill to help people in need

May 6, 2019 - It took more than luck to complete a long and challenging donation process to provide excess items to Bahrain’s Red Crescent Society, but the charity’s local leaders recently wished good fortune on Defense Logistics Agency employees there for extra efforts from agency employees to provide support.

Agency supports East African relief efforts
The World Food Programme, the food-assistance branch of the United Nations, transports relief supplies by helicopter from Beira Airport to Bebedo, Mozambique, April 8, 2019, during humanitarian relief efforts in the Republic of Mozambique and surrounding areas following Cyclone Idai.
