DLA Distribution Corpus Christi celebrates employees at the ballfield

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — DLA Distribution Corpus Christi, Texas, had its 4th Annual DLA Distribution night with the Corpus Christi Hooks- the AA affiliate of the Houston Astros- as they faced off with the Frisco Roughriders July 14th at Whataburger Field.

Bryan Ramirez, wood worker at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Corpus Christi, Texas., has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Special Services Civilian of the Year award for being a key member of the Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking Box Shop team.

Iwakuni personnel help clear the way for new commissary

Iwakuni, Japan — Defense Logistics Agency personnel in Japan are helping the Defense Commissary Agency, or “DeCA,” to make way for a new facility by providing disposal support for the removal of an old commissary.

Philadelphia — Students in the Workforce Recruitment Program make a direct impact on the troops they support, the DLA Troop Support commander told the summer hires when he met with them July 20. The WRP connects federal and private sector employers with college students and recent graduates with disabilities.

Defense Logistics Agency announces Superior Suppliers for 2015

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Today the Defense Logistics Agency announced its top performing industry partners for fiscal year 2015 as part of the Department of Defense’s Superior Supplier Incentive Program.

Defense Logistics Agency’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter fiscal 2016, is DLA Aviation’s Air Force Capt. Broderick Morris, who is the B-2 weapons system program manager currently assigned to the Air Force Customer Facing Division in the Customer Operations Directorate.

Aviation customer service captain named DLA’s 2nd quarter CGO

Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter fiscal 2016, is DLA Aviation’s Air Force Capt. Broderick Morris, who is the B-2 weapons system program manager currently assigned to the Air Force Customer Facing Division in the Customer Operations Directorate. Morris was nominated and selected for his performance while deployed as a member of the DLA Support Team –Kuwait from January to March 2016.
