Mae DeVincentis will return to the Defense Logistics Agency July 14 to be inducted into the DLA Hall of Fame three years after her retirement as its vice director. She is widely known for having a hand in several of DLA’s triumphs.

DLA Distribution Norfolk team player with Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard in Pacer Goose 2015

In early July, the Ocean Giant set sail from Norfolk Naval Base with 2 million pounds of supplies on an 11-day voyage to the U.S. Armed Forces’ northernmost military installation in the world. Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Norfolk, Va., was part of the team tasked with the U.S. Space Command’s yearly surface resupply for 650 U.S. Air Force personnel at Thule Air Force Base, Greenland, in support of Operation Pacer Goose 2015.

Lawrence Bruner, materials handler supervisor at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Europe, has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Vehicle and Material Handling Equipment Operator Supervisor/Leader of the Year award for his efforts in the distribution center’s Theater Consolidation and Shipping Point, or TCSP.
