Europe Warehousing Team named one of best in DLA

GERMERSHEIM, Germany — DLA Director Air Force Lt. Gen. Andy Busch has announced the DLA Distribution Europe Warehousing Division Team as the winner of the DLA Strategic Goals Award for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015 in the Warfighter First category.

Distribution Susquehanna’s Employee of the Week

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Eileen Austin, distribution facility specialist for the Eastern Distribution Center Division, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pa., was selected as the Employee of the Week for the week of Feb. 8.

SGT Ashley Irmak, with the U.S. Army Medical Material Center, Europe in Pirmasens, Germany, provided Army Brig. Gen. Charles Hamilton, DLA Troop Support commander, a brief on the Optical Activities Division. Hamilton went to USAMMCE as part of his first visit to DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa.
