NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — On Aug. 16, under a cloudless sky with temperatures creeping toward the 90s, employees and family members of the Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania installation enjoyed recreation and samplings of food from more than a dozen different cultural food vendors, at the 3rd Annual DLA Distribution Organizational Day & Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation SummerFest.

Navy Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Brianna Glynn has been named DLA Distribution Junior Non-Commissioned Officer for the third quarter of fiscal year 2017.

Glynn named Junior NCO of the Quarter

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Navy Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Brianna Glynn has been named DLA Distribution Junior Non-Commissioned Officer for the third quarter of fiscal year 2017.

Each year, since 1971, August 26 has been designated and celebrated in the United States as Women’s Equality Day.

Distribution honors Women's Equality Day

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — The women’s suffrage movement began in 1848 at the Seneca Falls Convention in Seneca Falls, New York. Convened by suffragist leaders Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott, the committee published a “Declaration of Sentiments.”
