CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Army Lt. Col. Brian Richie has been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his achievements while serving as commander, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Corpus Christi, Texas.

DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania’s Navy Lt. j.g. Kyle Combs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant during a ceremony June 2. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Distribution Susquehanna commander Army Col Brad J. Eungard.

Commander recognizes Troop Support employees at awards ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — The commander of DLA Troop Support recognized 67 employees during a quarterly awards ceremony June 6.

Army Col. Erik Larson, defense attaché at the U.S. embassy in Oman, joins officials from the Oman Ministry of Defense and the Port of Duqm to answer questions at a May 14-15 workshop for Omani company representatives.

DLA helps educate Omani vendors on DoD contracting processes, opportunities

The Defense Logistics Agency joined the U.S. Embassy in Oman, U.S. Central Command and 40 Omani company representatives in the sultanate’s first ever defense-contracting workshop May 14-15 in the capital city of Muscat.

TRACY, California — Employees of DLA San Joaquin, California, local law enforcement officers and congressional staff paid tribute to fallen law enforcement officers during a morning National Peace Officers’ Memorial Observance May 17. Distribution’s Ramos retires after 22 years in the U.S. Air Force

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — DLA Distribution Joint Logistic Strategic Planner Air Force Maj. Rachel Ramos has retired after 22 years of service to the nation.

Andrews becomes newest commander of DLA Distribution Pearl Harbor

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Navy Supply Corps Cmdr. Sean M. Andrews assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in a June 2 ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Pacific commander Navy Capt. Timothy Daniels.

DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Charles Hamilton speaks to junior and senior high school students at Council Rock North High School in Newtown, Pennsylvania, during a Memorial Day ceremony May 26.
