Tracy Fitness Center enhances the healthy lifestyles and resiliency of DLA San Joaquin

SAN JOAQUIN, California — The opening of a state-of-the-art fitness center at DLA San Joaquin is meeting one of the main objectives of the DLA Strategic Plan; DLA San Joaquin employees are becoming more resilient in both their professional and personal lives.

Studevant selected as DLA Aviation’s 2016 Hall of Fame inductee

RICHMOND, Virginia — Mary Studevant, former deputy director of what is now known as Defense Logistics Agency Installation Support at Richmond, has been selected for the 2016 DLA Aviation Hall of Fame. An induction ceremony will be at 1 p.m. June 16 in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center, Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.

Members of the DLA Troop Support Ricoh Multi-Functional Devices Support team received the gold medal in the Outstanding Administrative Support Accomplishment category during the FEB Excellence in Government Awards May 12 in Philadelphia. The team took over the maintenance of agency printers and saved the organization more than $150,000.

Carrots, CrossFit part of agency day to promote health, safety

McNamara Headquarters Complex employees were treated to a wealth of wellness information and demonstrations at the 17th Annual Health and Safety Expo in the cafeteria, while some braved the rain to stock up on produce, hot sauce and baked goods at the Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters weekly farmers' market. Both events took place May 11.
