In 1918, the U.S. Army Quartermaster Department established a depot on 851 acres of land in rural New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, based on its proximity to the Susquehanna River and Pennsylvania Railroad. TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Tyndall Air Force Base website — The 325th Logistics Readiness Squadron recently vacated the unit’s warehouse, which was permanently damaged by Hurricane Michael last year. The warehouse held 500,080 items that needed to be moved as quickly as possible to save from damage by the elements.

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany — Representatives from the Netherlands Ministry of Defense visited DLA Energy Europe & Africa’s Petroleum Laboratory to learn about its fuel testing capabilities, Oct. 15.
