This year's theme: "EMS Strong: Stronger Together" is a reminder that Emergency Medical Technicians and paramedics remain committed to the tough work that requires passion, purpose and heart to carry out well every day, often in difficult circumstances. This year, each day has a unique theme highlighting EMS Strong: Stronger Together.

A close call for a DLA Land and Maritime associate and Columbus native

Brenda Minnema, a management and program analyst for the People and Culture Directorate at DLA Land and Maritime and native to the Columbus area, almost experienced just that April 11. Her day started off like any other. She went to physical therapy in the morning, came to work, went to a meeting, ate lunch and attended a webinar. Everything seemed normal… until it wasn’t.
