Rivera takes command at DLA Distribution Yokosuka, Japan

YOKOSUKA, Japan — Navy Cmdr. AJ Rivera assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Yokosuka, Japan, in a March 2 ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Pacific commander Navy Capt. Timothy Daniels.

Center: Chief Master Sgt. Daniel Thompson, 412th Mission Support Group superintendent, and James Judkins, 412th Civil Engineer Group director, cut the ceremonial ribbon to celebrate the completion of major repairs and upgrades to the main base military gas station at Edwards Feb. 26. Upgraded facilities to keep Edwards vehicles running for years to come

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Edwards Air Force Base website — The 412th Civil Engineer Group celebrated the completion of repairs and upgrades to the main base military gas station Feb. 26. Base civil engineers and contractors from Gilbane Federal got together to cut the ceremonial ribbon signifying the completion of the $1,187,000 project.

A new office at the Defense Logistics Agency will focus on getting more value of the data collected across the agency by analyzing the information and looking for ways the data can inform management decisions.
