Concrete partnership showcased during airfield construction

Andrews becomes newest commander of DLA Distribution Pearl Harbor

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Navy Supply Corps Cmdr. Sean M. Andrews assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in a June 2 ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Pacific commander Navy Capt. Timothy Daniels.

DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Charles Hamilton speaks to junior and senior high school students at Council Rock North High School in Newtown, Pennsylvania, during a Memorial Day ceremony May 26. The ceremony paid tribute to the school’s 15 graduates who lost their lives in U.S. armed conflicts, along with all of America’s fallen service members.

Council Rock 15 inspires Troop Support commander

Newtown, Pennsylvania — In honor of the Council Rock 15 and all fallen service members, the DLA Troop Support commander participated in a Memorial Day ceremony at Council Rock North High School May 26.

Aviation Supplier Industry Days bring government, businesses together

RICHMOND, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Supplier Industry Days kicked off May 16 in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, for a two-day conference bringing industry business leaders and owners to participate in discussions getting the DLA Aviation acquisition professionals representing warfighter demand and suppliers together.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain held more than 35 brown bag lunches in order to better understand their workforce’s needs. The brown bag sessions were designed to help address areas of concern indicated in the Denison Climate Culture Surveys' written comments.

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Navy Supply Corps Cmdr. Troy C. Morse has been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his achievements while serving as commander, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Marines from Marine Corps Systems Command conduct helocasting of the Zodiac F470 near Quantico, Va., while an Open Water Safety Craft floats nearby. The OWSC has been in service since 2006, and is used as an emergency vessel during waterborne training operations.
