WASHINGTON — The Pentagon acquisition chief presented awards to individual members of the defense acquisition workforce and to those in large and small DoD organizations who use best practices to develop their teams.

Community event delayed but not forgotten

November 13, 2015 — Members of the Defense Logistics Agency in Battle Creek joined with the community and other Defense Department elements for a long delayed event to recognize America’s armed forces along with those serving in the Battle Creek, Michigan, who distinguished themselves through their extra efforts.

Susquehanna celebrates the season with 50th annual Children’s Holiday Party

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna, hosted its 50th annual Children’s Holiday Party on Dec. 7, during which local children played games, received gifts and visited with Santa. The party, held yearly at the installation’s Susquehanna Club, featured a live DJ, face painting, pizza and presentations by DLA fire and police units.
