Award-winning support recognized by government procurement coalition

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency’s Troop Support's Medical Directorate’s Strategic Materiel Sourcing Group and Construction and Equipment employee Meghan Michalski earned the Coalition for Government Procurement’s Acquisition Excellence Awards for Government, according to the group’s announcement February 26.

DLA Troop Support bids farewell to retiring civilian employee

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support said goodbye to its most recent civilian retiree during a ceremony Feb. 25 in Philadelphia. Pama Hamlett of the Subsistence supply chain retired after 41 years of federal service.

Bruce Johnson, veteran Washington D.C. broadcast journalist, spoke about his family’s history in the U.S. during DLA Troop Support’s virtual Black History Month event Feb. 17, 2021. Johnson has won 21 Emmys including the prestigious Ted Yates award, which is only given with a unanimous vote of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Board of Governors.
