DLA Aviation’s new commander tours industrial support activities

Richmond, Va — Air Force Brig. Gen. Linda Hurry, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation commander, began a round of tours to four of the activity’s industrial support activity sites Aug. 21-25.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Ogden employee, Timothy Folkman works as a customer support specialist in the Customer Operations Directorate. Folkman enjoys helping to solve difficult problems and ensuring warfighter support is achieved.

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation employees joined together to build morale and comradery between the two groups, as well as help the local community.

Richmond, Virginia — The DLA Aviation Forging and Casting Assistance Team looks for ways to save time and money on contracts by improving processes and solving procurement problems. The AFCAT educates employees on casting and forging processes by taking them to visit two commercial casting and forging companies that make parts for DLA.
