DSCC Fire Department members recognized for their life-saving efforts in local apartment fire

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management Columbus Fire and Emergency Services personnel are being credited with saving several lives in an apartment blaze earlier this month near the Defense Supply Center Columbus.

Power restored at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Supply Center Columbus underwent a controlled power outage on Wednesday, Oct. 23. At about 9:40 a.m., the entire installation experienced a total interruption of electrical service as part of a Full-Scale Energy Resilience Readiness Exercise to test the installation’s emergency backup generators and provide tenants with real-time practice of personnel accountability and Continuity of Operation Plans. Power was restored at 5:44 p.m.
