Team DLA averages two hour delivery time for crucial Air Force parts

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Robins Air Force Base website — In early March, Robins Air Force Base began to send high risk personnel home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. By the end of the month the base had emptied to critical personnel. One critical team from Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Warner Robins is the Delivery Response Team that ensures timely delivery of crucial Air Force maintenance supplies.

100th LRS flight service center: 'We’ve got what you need’

100th MXS: Aircraft structural maintenance maintains readiness

RAF MILDENHALL, England — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Royal Air Force Mildenhall website — The Airmen of the 100th Maintenance Squadron’s aircraft structural maintenance shop preserve and extend the life of components for all Team Mildenhall airframes.

Airmen with the 109th Airlift Wing's Logistical Readiness Squadron, New York National Guard, designed and built new crates to carry 25-foot-long skis the wing's LC-130s use to land on snow and ice in the Arctic and Antarctic, to replace older versions that were no longer serviceable. NY Air Guard customizes shipping boxes for 25-foot-long skis

So it’s always a good idea to protect them when they’re shipped. It’s an even better idea to protect them when the skis are 25 feet long, weigh 3,000 pounds, and are used to land 75,800-pound LC-130 cargo airplanes on ice and snow.

Hurricane Hunters finish flying Dorian

AMC C-130 rainbow fitting inspections complete
