Defense Supply Center Columbus: 100 Years of Warfighter Support

For 100 years, a small military post in central Ohio has played a major role supporting U.S. servicemen and women around the world.

Army Sgt. Leon H. Bell in 1919, after returning from World War I, at the home of his half-sister Lassie and brother-in-law, F.E. Carroll, Park Street, Beaumont, Texas. The U.S. Army continued to issue this uniform into the early days of World War II. DLA Troop Support now supplies all uniforms to U.S. military service members.
