Navy command saves an additional 1.3 million with DLA Disposition Services

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services site at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, recently issued a mobile command center to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland.

Retired soldier sources excess DOD property for Las Vegas JROTC program

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Keith Archibald retired from the Army after 33 years of service. He began his military career as an enlisted legal specialist and retired as a lieutenant colonel in logistics. Today, he serves as the senior Army instructor for a Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program and uses surplus military property from Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services to supplement student supplies.
