Deployment exposes DLA employee to warfighters’ needs, agency capabilities
FORT BELVOIR, Va. — A DLA Logistics Operations employee recently got to witness the fruits of her hard work during a deployment to Wiesbaden, Germany, where she supported warfighters throughout U.S. Army Europe and Africa.

New deployable volunteer group to expand DLA’s readiness
FORT BELVOIR, Va. — A new volunteer opportunity is available for Defense Logistics Agency employees who think working in the field with warfighers sounds more exciting than a cubicle job with a predictable schedule. DLA is assembling a crew of 400 volunteers to deploy as situations arise around the world. Members will be ready to deploy at a moment’s notice to supplement DLA employees already on the ground.

Overseas deployment opportunities available
FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Employees looking for a unique way to support the warfighter can apply for a deployment opportunity with the Defense Logistics Agency’s Support Team or Liaison Team. Jobs are available for 2023 and 2024. The selected employees will remain in their current position and duty station until they are scheduled to deploy.
