Washington National Guard musters for wildfire support

CAMP MURRAY, Wash — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the National Guard website — Nearly 150 Washington National Guard members have been activated to support wildland firefighting efforts in Eastern Washington.

DLA works closely with the U.S. Forest Service, state governments and local fire departments to get firefighters like the Silver State Interagency Hotshot Crew, shown fighting a blaze in the Stanislaus National Forest, California, the equipment they need.
