The men and women who’ve served in the Marine Corps since its birth have built a strong legacy, the service’s assistant deputy commandant for combat development and integration said during a celebration of the Marine Corps’ 242nd birthday at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Nov. 6.

DLA hones support to Marines on forward stock, transparent armor, disposal of excess, leaders report at Marine Corps/DLA Day

Logistics leaders from the Marine Corps and the Defense Logistics Agency discussed how both organizations can refine their support to deployed Marines at the Marine Corps/DLA day Aug. 10.

DLA expands support to Marine Corps supply, maintenance units

Less excess materiel, reduced inventory costs and decreased lead times are among the benefits of two new Defense Logistics Agency drives to improve support to Marine Corps customers at maintenance depots and supply management units.

U.S. Navy Sailors with Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 135 performed maintenance on E/A-18G Growlers at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, to support exercise Cope North, which is scheduled for Feb. 8 – March 8, 2017. Marine Corps’ 241st birthday brings out Marine spirit

Marines and friends of the military service filled the McNamara Headquarters Complex auditorium to celebrate the Marine Corps' 241st birthday Nov. 10.

U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 2 Mathew Wright, a motor transportation maintenance officer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 372, conducts maintenance on an Invent3D printer during a 3-D printer integration exercise at site 50 training area, Wellton, Arizona, Oct. 18, 2016. Wright used the additive manufacturing equipment to make objects from 3-D model data throughout Weapons Tactics Instructors course 1-17. Printing the future: MWSS-372 successfully tests 3-D printing in a field environment

Embracing Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Robert Neller’s recent push for Marines to innovate, MWSS-372 is one of the first units to experiment with 3-D printing.
