Red River’s safety specialist supports MRAP DEMIL in Afghanistan

RED RIVER, Texas — Kent Martz, a safety specialist at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Red River, Texas, has spent the last six months in Afghanistan supporting the MRAP Demilitarization mission. Arriving in March 2015, he is expected to return home to Red River at the end of September 2015.

Stephen Byus, the first DLA employee killed in Afghanistan, is being inducted into the DLA Hall of Fame July 14.

DLA civilian killed in Afghanistan left legacy of service, friendship

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Stephen Byus, a Defense Logistics Agency employee and Navy Reservist who was killed in Afghanistan in 2014, is being inducted into the DLA Hall of Fame in honor of his service and legacy.
