FORT BELVOIR, Va. — DA Energy launched a new webpage to outline its efforts to support President Biden’s administration’s clean energy goals. DLA Energy is combining its acquisition expertise and strong industry partnerships to help the military services and whole-of-government partners achieve their climate change goals.

DSCC named Tree City USA for the fourth consecutive year

MT VERNON, Ohio — Defense Supply Center Columbus was named a Tree City USA for the fourth consecutive year at the annual Tree City USA Awards Presentation on April 21 in the Schnormeier Event Center in Ariel-Foundation Park in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. The all-day event was attended by representatives from 45 communities across 15 counties in Central Ohio.

Distribution centers take time to keep the planet clean

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — DLA Distribution not only supports the warfighter; it also strives to improve the sustainability of critical resources. That’s why, in recognition of Earth Day 2016, several distribution centers dedicated time to giving back to the planet.

Contractors are installing 252 geothermal wells to heat and cool the new Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Operations Center Feb. 17, 2016. The first phase of the three-phased, five-story, 252,000 square-feet building is scheduled for occupancy in late 2018 or early 2019.
