This Memorial Day, reflect and remember — but also be vigilant

Given the recent suicide bombing in Manchester, United Kingdom, Defense Logistics Agency employees are urged to be vigilant in large public gatherings. Look out for any person whose behavior, demeanor or belongings seem unusual, and report them to law enforcement.

Saving life after terrorist bombing garners Army award

Army Col. Rick Ellis, commander of the DLA support team in Afghanistan was awarded the combat action badge Nov. 26, after saving a soldier's life following a terrorist bombing.

The Pentagon Memorial honors the 184 victims killed at the Pentagon and on American Airlines flight 77, which was flown into the building during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
