Fire warden training prepares and empowers DLA employees on DSCR

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Richmond and Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia tenant employees recently completed semi-annual training preparing them to serve as fire wardens around DSCR. Classes were held virtually and in-person in the Frank B. Lotts Center Mar. 21, 22, and 23.

The academy is a training course designed for employees in non-supervisory paygrades GS 11-13 aspiring to move into leadership positions.

DLA Aviation at Oklahoma City welcomes improvements

Richmond, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management team celebrated the opening of a new office administration area Mar. 6 in Bldg. 2121 on Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The section had not been updated in more than 45 years, and it now boasts brighter, modern looks with essential equipment for day-to-day operations.
