Leaders, customer reps discuss ways agency honing support at global summit

The Defense Logistics Agency hosted its annual Global Customer-Facing Summit April 18-19 for those who serve as the face of DLA to its customers. Attendees discussed ways to provide stellar customer service and networked with peers from around the world.

DLA Aviation awards U-2 support contract for Pacer Dragon Program

Richmond, Va — Preparing to pilot the Air Force’s U-2 Dragon Lady is much like suiting up to go into space.The Dragon Lady is a single-seat, single-engine, high-altitude aircraft that provides high-altitude/ near space reconnaissance and all-weather surveillance and reconnaissance, day or night, and delivers critical imagery and signals intelligence. Reserve members gather for joint leadership review

DLA R&D boosts performance, safety for batteries powering weapons systems

Recent work led by DLA’s Battery Network R&D program includes the development of a new lithium ion-based power system for the TOW 2 anti-tank missile and new lead-acid batteries used on armored vehicles, such as the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
