DLA, Energy senior leaders discuss annual operating plan

Fort Belvoir, VA — Defense Logistics Agency and DLA Energy senior leaders discussed the field activity’s operations May 29 during DLA Energy’s Annual Operating Plan Review at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.

DLA expands refueling capability and Pacific resiliency

In support of Pacific Command warfighter requirements, Defense Logistics Agency Energy and Military Sealift Command revived a long-standing capability for delivering fuel to the fleet for the first time in more than a decade.

U.S. Service members with the Joint Task Force 505 prepare boxes of aid and relief supplies to be loaded onto an aircraft at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal, May 14, in order for the supplies to be delivered to remote locations during Operation Sahayogi Haat. JTF 505 along with other multinational forces and humanitarian relief organizations are currently in Nepal providing aid after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country, April 25 and a 7.3 earthquake on May 12. DLA Energy supports relief efforts in Nepal

Nepal — The Defense Logistics Agency Energy is providing fuel-related support to Nepal following the April 25 and subsequent May 12 earthquakes.

DLA Energy pre-proposal conference addresses new tool, requirements for suppliers

SPRINGFIELD, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Energy held a pre-proposal conference to discuss new tools and the opportunity for alternative fuels in the Rocky Mountain/West Coast/Offshore 2015 purchase program solicitation at the Hilton Springfield Hotel in Springfield, Virginia, April 29.
