Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Europe arranges critical material for humanitarian crisis in Turkey

TRACY, Calif. — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Europe, in conjunction with DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa, arranged critical material in support of the humanitarian crisis in Turkey within 5 hours of receiving the order on Feb. 10.

DLA employee recalls 2011 earthquake that rocked the McNamara Headquarters Complex

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Linda Adams, a management analyst for Defense Logistics Agency Information Operations, recalls the rare 5.8-magnitude earthquake that shook the McNamara Headquarters Complex in 2011.

U.S. Service members with the Joint Task Force 505 prepare boxes of aid and relief supplies to be loaded onto an aircraft at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal, May 14, in order for the supplies to be delivered to remote locations during Operation Sahayogi Haat. JTF 505 along with other multinational forces and humanitarian relief organizations are currently in Nepal providing aid after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country, April 25 and a 7.3 earthquake on May 12.
