OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — Lance Freed, a general supply specialist with the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Oklahoma City, Okla., has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Inventory Management Civilian of the Year Award for his contributions to the distribution center’s inventory accuracy and performance.

Distribution headquarters kicks off OSHA Voluntary Protection Program with Area Safety Representatives

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — As part of ongoing efforts to improve occupational safety and health across Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, the Susquehanna installation kicked off the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program with Area Safety Representatives on Aug. 12.

Greg Eaton, discuss transportation requirements with a local logistics company during U.S. Transportation Command's Turbo Distribution 15-7 exercise at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., July 22, 2015. Transcom conducts the annual exercise to assess Joint Task Force-Port Opening aerial port and distribution operations. The scenario is focused on humanitarian and disaster relief operations in a third world country. This is the first time a Defense Logistics Agency support team participated and the team deployed with the first wave of JTF-PO forces.
