(AFNS) — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Force website — OCP rank insignia, badges, name, and service tapes will now feature a lighter, three-color background pattern, versus the current seven-color pattern, to increase readability and ease rank recognition.

The Air Force’s May 2018 decision to transition into a single combat uniform eliminates the need to maintain two separate uniforms – one for in-garrison and one for deployments.
