Senior military leaders discuss challenges, future sustainment in INDO-PACOM

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — For the past 30 to 50 years, the United States has had freedom of maneuver to sustain the fleet anywhere it wants, but that’s not going to cut it in a contested environment, the deputy chief of Naval Operations for Installations and Logistics said at the Sea-Air-Space 2025 Expo at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center April 8.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Navy Rear Adm. Doug Noble Jr., the Defense Logistics Agency’s director of logistics operations and commander of joint regional command support, celebrated the end of 35 years of active-duty service during a retirement ceremony June 14 in the McNamara Headquarters Complex Auditorium.

Naval Supply Corps officer assumes command of DLA Troop Support Pacific

PHILADELPHIA — Navy Cmdr. Shani LeBlanc assumed command of DLA Troop Support Pacific during a ceremony Nov. 27 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. A Rosepine, Louisiana native, LeBlanc was commissioned after graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Navy Cmdr. Eric Lockett, executive officer and operations officer, Navy Customer Facing Division, Customer Operations Directorate, was selected in June 2017 to command DLA Energy Pacific at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Lockett’s current assignment is in Richmond, Virginia.
