Forums aim to improve employee readiness during emergencies

Richmond, VA. — National Preparedness Month Open Forum held on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, provides employees with information and open dialogue with DLA officials from the police, fire and emergency services, criminal intelligence, physical security and antiterrorism offices.

DLA employees are urged to "Don't wait, communicate. Make your emergency plan today," during National Preparedness Month.

‘Don’t wait, communicate’ during National Preparedness Month

PHILADELPHIA — National Preparedness Month serves as a reminder that we all must take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect us where we live, work and visit.

As part of National Preparedness Month, DLA Energy participated in a Federal Emergency Management Agency drill this month in Salt Lake City, Utah, demonstrating their ability to support delivery of ground fuel products via retail tank wagon to a local vendor tank truck.

National Preparedness Month: DLA Energy participates in FEMA readiness drills

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — September is National Preparedness Month, designed to raise awareness of being prepared for disasters. DLA Energy is doing just that as personnel participated in two FEMA drills this month, demonstrating their ability to support delivery of fuels.
