COLUMBUS, Ohio — Firefighter and EMT Dustin Buckley rolls out water hoses during routine pressure testing June 4 at DSCC. Each year, all hoses and attachments are tested to ensure they meet federal codes and guidelines.

What DLA Disposition Services Really Does

Lansing, Michigan — A cargo truck once used by the military finds new life as a firefighting vehicle for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources thanks to the mission of DLA Disposition Services.

The Defense Logistics Agency is supporting firefighting efforts by providing equipment ranging from fire hoses and protective clothing to tools and batteries to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildland Fire Protection Program.
