MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. — Army Col. Gerard Acosta, DLA CENTCOM & SOCOM commander, led an Officer Professional Development session June 15, 2022, at MacDill Air Force Base for U.S. Central Command logistics staff officers.

U.S. service members board a C-130H at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The 386th moved an average of nearly 8,000 passengers a month throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

Building stronger relationships and exploring ways to improve DLA’s support for the global Special Operations Forces mission were the goals as DLA and Special Operations Command leaders met for the second SOCOM/DLA Day at the McNamara Headquarters Complex March 1.
