DLA director spurs audit advancement team

Defense Logistics Agency Director Army Lt. Gen. Darrell K. Williams thanked and encouraged members of the Audit Advancement Team responsible for day-to-day delivery of audit goals for the agency at DLA Headquarters, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, July 16.

DLA's Records and Information Management program is performing an agencywide inventory of all documents that may have regulatory, legal or historical importance to the agency or the government.

Legacy of financial transparency continues with ninth cost summit

Vice director: Audit disclaimer an opportunity to improve rather than a failure

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Recent news that independent auditors Ernst & Young issued a disclaimer of opinion on the Defense Logistics Agency’s financial records isn’t good, but was not unexpected, DLA Vice Director Ted Case told members of the agency’s audit advancement team in an All Hands meeting Oct. 31.

Two DLA locations will this month undergo an inspection from the National Archves and Records Administration on its management of federal records.
