RAF Mildenhall supports AFRICOM

RAF MILDENHALL, England — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Royal Air Force Mildenhall website — The 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron deployment and distribution flight here, put together a cargo deployment function to send to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, March 10, 2018. The CDF was comprised of almost 10,000 pounds of equipment to aid in continuing support of U.S. Africa Command.

Airmen finish Antarctica support mission

STRATTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, N.Y. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air National Guard 109th Airlift Wing website — Airmen and aircraft with the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing have started their journey back home to Scotia, New York, from McMurdo Station, Antarctica, after another successful Operation Deep Freeze season.

— Construction is currently underway to provide a work environment for U.S. coalition forces to continue aerial port operations in Kuwait City. The aerial port is a strategic logistics point to deliver passengers and cargo throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and its future was recently put in jeopardy due to a construction project timeline issue.

Air mobility squadron expedites the fight
