Fall 2020 Ohio State University Economics Virtual Career Fair

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime attended the last virtual career fair of fiscal year 2020 at The Ohio State University Economics Virtual Career Fair. The event was hosted Sept. 30 using the Handshake virtual recruiting platform.

University of Toledo Fall 2020 Virtual Engineering Career Expo

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Engineering and Technical Directorate participated in a Virtual Engineering Career Expo with the University of Toledo Sept. 29. This online event connected employers with engineering students, recent graduates, and alumni seeking both internships and full-time employment.

2020 California Baptist University Business and Accounting Fair

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime went to the West Coast, virtually that is, to recruit at the 2020 California Baptist University Business and Accounting Fair Sept. 23. Nine students from various business fields of study and DLA recruiters attended the event using a virtual platform.

DLA Pathways Internship Program prepares employees to enter PaCE Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Defense Logistics Agency Pathways Internship Program serves as a pipeline for the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence Program. Following successful completion of academic and work experience requirements, six DLA Land and Maritime Pathways Interns entered the PaCE Program’s supply career field.

July New Employee Orientation

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime People and Culture Office welcomed 14 new employees to Columbus, Ohio, and four from the detachments at the July New Employee orientation held July 26-27 using the Defense Collaboration System. Griff Warren, Chief of Operations, welcomed the group and answered questions from the audience.

Land and Maritime participates in University of Akron Virtual Career Fair

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Engineering and Technical Support Directorate participated in a Virtual Career Fair with the University of Akron on July 14 and 16. Recruiters Adil Zuber and Shaokang Yuan, both from the Engineering and Technical Support Directorate, along with Dawn Sutton, from the People and Culture Directorate, attended the event to speak with potential applicants.
