MARATHON, Fla. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S.Air Force Expeditionary Center website — The 821st Contingency Response Group from Travis Air Force Base, California, alerted a 64-person Contingency Response Element to Marathon Regional Airport, located in the Florida Keys, where they arrived in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, Sept. 11.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — As the Defense Logistics Agency continues working with U.S. Northern Command and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in a supporting role in the overall whole of government disaster response to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, its distribution center in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania has been steadfastly shipping relief items to the affected areas while its deployed employees manage receipt and delivery of items.
