DLA Energy employee optimistic about six-month rotation program

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Enhanced skills, experience, knowledge, confidence and networking in a competitive workforce are varied and practical benefits of an organization’s job-rotation program that employees have the opportunity to participate in to enhance their careers.

With dozens of spectators looking on and hurling water balloons in their direction, DLA Land and Maritime teams from the (l-r) Air Force, Navy, Army and Marine Corps take off during the first heat of the inaugural Navy Birthday Cardboard Regatta at the Eagle Eye Golf Course Oct. 16. Land and Maritime celebrates Navy’s birthday at inaugural Regatta

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Service members and associates took to the open waters on Defense Supply Center Columbus Oct. 16 for DLA Land and Maritime’s inaugural Navy Birthday Cardboard Regatta at the Eagle Eye Golf Course. Lending a hand to veterans

Battle Creek, Michigan — An early Veteran’s Day present was delivered to homeless vets in Battle Creek, Michigan, by DLA Disposition Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs in late October.

DLA Distribution participates in Child Development Center parade

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — With the spookiest time of the year upon us, the tenants of Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna lined the streets surrounding the Child Development Center and the installation fire station to hand out candy to approximately 120 ghouls, goblins, superheroes and princesses on Oct. 30.
