DLA inducts five former employees into Hall of Fame
Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Five former Defense Logistics Agency employees who helped build the agency’s reputation as a world- class logistics provider were inducted into the agency’s Hall of Fame July 14 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.
DLA Energy supports New Horizons spacecraft’s Pluto mission
San Antonio, Texas — The Defense Logistics Agency Energy’s support now extends to the edge of the solar system as NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft reaches Pluto. Propellants used along the spacecraft’s journey, as well as the fuel and other products used in the Atlas V rocket that launched New Horizons were all procured, stored and transported by DLA Energy.

DLA civilian killed in Afghanistan left legacy of service, friendship
Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Stephen Byus, a Defense Logistics Agency employee and Navy Reservist who was killed in Afghanistan in 2014, is being inducted into the DLA Hall of Fame in honor of his service and legacy.
Distribution’s aide-de-camp receives Defense Meritorious Service Medal

Domonick Sylve, aide-de-camp to the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution commander, was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal on July 9 for his skillful planning and managing of the day-to-day mission requirements of the commanding general of DLA Distribution, Army Brig.
