Deadline for ‘Real ID’-compliant driver’s license extended to June for some states

If you have family members whose only ID is issued by one of an expanded list of non-compliant states or territories, they will not be able to use that ID for unescorted access to Department of Defense or other federal facilities after June 6, following an extension of the deadline by the Department of Homeland Security.

DLA San Joaquin hosts Expeditionary Academy

Members of the DLA Distribution Expeditionary Team assigned to DLA Distribution San Joaquin, in concert with partners from DLA Distribution Expeditionary Logistics and DLA Training, hosted an Expeditionary Academy Jan. 17 through 27 for the DLA Distribution Operations Team San Joaquin Navy Reserve unit. The two-week event consisted of classroom and hands-on training, with a focus on DLA Distribution and mobilization training.

Subsistence grows produce support to Alabama schools with satsumas

Schoolchildren in Alabama are enjoying a citrus treat this winter thanks in part to DLA Troop Support. Satsumas are a seedless fruit with loose skin grown in Alabama. And the Subsistence supply chain provides them to schools through the DOD Fresh Program.
