On May 30, 2018, DLA entities at Ogden, Utah held their first annual Voluntary Protection Program Safety Expo. The participants consisted of groups from Distribution, Aviation, Information Operations, Disposition Services, and Document Services to show many elements of safety affecting all aspects of employee lives, both personally and professionally.

Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Hill Air Force Base website — Located at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, the 575th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron T-38 Talon depot maintenance team has been providing current upgrade modifications known as Pacer Classic III since 2015 and have to date successfully completed them on 40 T-38 Talon aircraft.

DFSP Yorktown ceases fuel operations

The final large barge lift of jet fuel marks the end of an era for the historic Defense Fuel Support Point Yorktown, Virginia, June 6. The transfer of 150,000 barrels of jet fuel to the Military Sealift Command fuel barge, Petrochem Producer, and the drawdown of fuel to tank bottom levels marks the start of the final accountability process for the 117 year-old, government-owned, contractor-operated fuel terminal.
