One of the most awesome things happened to me May 16. On May 14, I went to the cafeteria. When I got to the register to pay for my lunch, I only had $5 in my hand; mind you I came into the cafeteria with $25. I was upset about losing $20 but just chalked it up as a lost.

Law enforcement sacrifices remembered

The Defense Logistics Agency Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin on Chrisman Road hosted a ceremony Wednesday to mark Peace Officers Memorial Day. The DLA police force, led by Chief Khalid Ali and depot commander Col. Andre Harrell, invited members of the Tracy Police Department, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement agencies to participate in the service.
