The Wheel starts turning at DLA Aviation

Richmond, Va. — The “Wheel” started turning Oct. 29 in the McKeever Auditorium as Julia Roquemore, division chief, Aviation and Airframes Division, Supplier Operations Commodities Directorate, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, opened the pilot session of a new supervisors’ overview that has been a year in the planning.

Guam National Guard, Navy join forces for relief efforts

U.S. Army to roll out new Army Greens uniform

This is the uniform worn by America's "Greatest Generation" in World War II.

2018 Federal Benefits Open Season

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The 2018 Federal Benefits Open Season will run from November 12th through December 10th with all new elections effective January 06, 2019. During this time, employees will have the opportunity to elect or make changes to their Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Programs (FEDVIP), and the Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS).

Becoming a Change Agent

Becoming a change agent in the midst of acquisition reform was the theme of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Supply Chain Integration Dee Reardon’s visit to the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Oct. 25. During the mentoring session, Reardon shared seven points of advice based on her personal experience as a change agent.

Troop Support honors 2018 Hall of Fame inductees

PHILADELPHIA — Former employees Jacqueline A. Basquill, Keith R. Ford and Wayne H. Williford were inducted into the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Hall of Fame during a ceremony Nov. 13. “As commander of this great organization, I take pride in knowing that there is a passionate, committed workforce who ensures that DLA maintains its stellar reputation,” said DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Mark Simerly. “To the inductees: You are truly deserving of this honor. It’s a privilege for me to recognize your many contributions and to induct you into DLA Troop Support’s Hall of Fame.”
